Challenge:

  • The challenge was to communicate that the UEFA Champions League will be running on PULS4 in the future, therefore enhancing the reputation and standing of the TV channel itself

Insight/Strategy:

  • Using the world’s standout annual football tournament to raise PULS4 to the premier league of TV channels

Implementation:

  • The Austrian saying “Hier spielt die Musik” (“The music is playing here”) was transformed into “Hier spielt die Champions League” (“The Champions League is playing here”). David Alaba was positioned as a spokesman in diverse channels and formats: in trailers, as a studio guest, on posters, in editorials and on the web.

Result:

  • 240% higher market share during game-time
